Near the Andes Chain, an ideal region for the cultivation of the best olives of the Arauco and Manzanilla varieties, Nucete produces green and ripe, whole and pitted, stuffed and sliced olives.
Currently, the Nucete group counts with 1,876 hectares planted, under drip irrigation, with the most updated international technology, where more than 486,000 olives are cultivated.
Most of them have been planted during the last five years, which means they have not yet reached their full production.

The olive crop is carried out at the time of optimal ripeness, preferably during the months of February, March, April (green olives) and May (black olives). This activity is made by hand, picking up olive by olive, in order to avoid any possible bump or scratch in the skin of the fruit.
